What is Region-Free?
Region-Free means the disc is compatible with all matching playback devices worldwide. This solves playback issues commonly caused by region-locked players in different countries.
What does MOD mean?
Manufactured on Demand (MOD) utilizes a laser-burning process to write data onto recordable discs, whereas standard retail discs are pressed using an injection molding process. The MOD process allows studios to offer physical discs of content that is streaming-only or not available in standard retail stores.
Can I use a game console for playback?
Yes. Our Blu-ray and DVD products are fully compatible with Sony and Microsoft game consoles equipped with disc drives. Our 4K UHD products are compatible with the Sony PS5 (with disc drive) and Xbox Series X.
What are the exact video resolutions for DVD, Blu-ray, 4K?
DVD discs are 480p (SD), Blu-ray discs are 720p or 1080p (HD), and 4K discs are 2160p (UHD). We always note the exact resolution and format on each product page.
Will a 4K disc play in any Blu-ray player?
No. All 4K discs require a dedicated 4K UHD Blu-ray player. Standard Blu-ray players are limited to 1080p and cannot read 4K discs.
