Star Wars spin-off 1984 film Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure, the Towani family crash-lands on the forest moon of Endor, prompting young siblings Cindel and Mace to team up with Wicket and the Ewoks on a perilous quest to rescue their parents from a giant monster called the Gorax. The story takes a much darker turn in the 1985 sequel, Ewoks: The Battle for Endor, which starts with a brutal raid on the Ewok village by a band of Marauders led by King Terak and the dark witch Charal. This attack leaves Cindel orphaned, forcing her and Wicket to flee into the wilderness where they find refuge with a swift creature named Teek and a grumpy, stranded human hermit named Noa. Together, this new alliance launches a counter-offensive to storm the Marauder stronghold, rescue the captured Ewoks, and fix Noa's starship so Cindel can finally leave the planet.
