The Santa Clauses follows a 65-year-old Scott Calvin as he realizes his magic is fading and he must find a successor to retire and give his family a normal life. In the first season, he chooses a tech mogul who goes rogue by trying to monetize the holiday, forcing Scott to return and save Christmas. The second season shifts to a family business model as Scott trains his teenage son Cal to take over, only for their efforts to be disrupted by the return of Magnus Antas, an ancient "Mad Santa" determined to reclaim the North Pole.
